Free Fire MAX

Free Fire MAX is Garena's enhanced edition of Free Fire for phones with more headroom. The game is the same: fifty players, one island, a shrinking safe zone and rounds of about ten minutes, plus Clash Squad 4v4, characters with skills and pets with bonuses. What changes is the presentation, with higher-resolution textures, better lighting, improved animations and a Craftland mode for building custom maps.

Both editions share accounts and servers through Firelink, so progress, skins and friends carry across and a MAX player can squad up with someone on the lighter version. Ranked seasons, events and the Elite Pass are the same on both.

The game is online only and free to play with optional purchases. This build is about 408 MB and downloads the full resource pack on first launch, so expect several gigabytes in total and a mid-range phone or better.
