About Fortnite
Fortnite is Epic Games' battle royale: 100 players glide onto an island, loot weapons, build cover or play Zero Build without it, and outlast everyone else as the storm closes in. Seasons rewrite the map and loot pool, and the Battle Pass, live events and collaborations are the reason it stays in the news.
It is also a platform. LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, Fortnite Festival and thousands of creator-made islands live inside the same app, and cross-platform play and progression cover PC, consoles and iOS. Voice chat, parties and parental controls are built in.
Fortnite is not on Google Play, so it is installed from an APK. The game is online only and free to play with optional V-Bucks purchases. This build is about 255 MB and downloads the full game data on first launch, so it needs a recent phone and several gigabytes free.
How to install Fortnite
- Download the Fortnite APK (about 255 MB) over Wi-Fi.
- Allow installs from this source if asked.
- Open the file and tap Install.
- Launch Fortnite, sign in with an Epic Games account and download the game data before your first match.
