Duolingo: Learn Languages

Duolingo teaches languages through short, game-like lessons. Each session takes a few minutes and mixes reading, listening, speaking and typing, with a path that grows from basic words to full sentences. Streaks, experience points and weekly leagues turn practice into a daily habit, and reminders nudge you when you slip.

The app covers dozens of languages and also offers courses in maths and music. Stories and practice modes help with listening and vocabulary, and progress syncs across your phone and the website so you can pick up where you left off.

Duolingo is free with advertising and limits on mistakes in some modes. A paid Super subscription removes ads and adds extras. This build is about 179 MB.
