Proton Drive

Proton Drive is the cloud storage app from Proton AG, the Swiss company that also makes Proton Mail, Proton VPN and Proton Pass. It lets you keep documents, photos and videos online and reach them from your phone, the web and your computer.

Everything is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, including file and folder names, so Proton cannot see what you store. The app can back up your camera roll automatically, and you can share a file or folder through a link that can carry a password and an expiry date. The free plan gives you a starting amount of storage; paid plans add more space and are shared with the other Proton services.

Offline files, a PIN or fingerprint lock and a built-in viewer for common formats round it out. The app's source code is published and the encryption has been independently audited.
