About Obtainium
Obtainium is a free, open-source app that keeps your Android apps up to date by checking the places where developers actually publish them. You add an app by pasting the address of its source, such as a GitHub or GitLab releases page, an F-Droid repository or a developer's own download page, and Obtainium watches that source and notifies you when a new version appears.
When an update is available it downloads the APK from the source and hands it to Android's installer, so you stay on the developer's own builds without waiting for a third-party store. You can filter release files by architecture or name, track pre-releases, group apps into categories and export or import your list when you move to a new phone.
Obtainium is developed by Imran Remtulla under the GPL-3.0 licence, with no ads and no account required. This listing links to the official universal APK on the project's GitHub releases page.
