About Unciv

Unciv is a free, open-source turn-based strategy game in the 4X tradition: explore, expand, exploit and exterminate. You start with a settler on a hex map, found cities, research a technology tree from the ancient era to the modern age, and compete with other nations through science, culture, diplomacy or war.

The game is light enough to run on modest phones, plays entirely offline against AI rivals, and also supports hot-seat matches and optional online multiplayer. A built-in map editor and a large library of community mods add new nations, rulesets and scenarios, so there is plenty to replay after a first win.

Unciv is created by Yair Morgenstern and a community of contributors, released under the MPL-2.0 licence, with no ads and no purchases. This listing links to the official signed APK on the project's GitHub releases page.
