About LibreTube
LibreTube is a free, open-source YouTube front-end for Android. It gets its data through Piped, a privacy-focused alternative backend, so you can search, watch and listen without signing in to a Google account and without the official app's ads or tracking.
The interface follows Material Design and offers background audio playback, picture-in-picture video, playlists, subscriptions and a download manager for saving videos or audio. You can also import your existing subscriptions, choose which Piped instance to use, and enable SponsorBlock to skip sponsored segments.
LibreTube is released under the GPL-3.0 licence and its source code is public. This listing links to the signed release published by the project. LibreTube is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
